I was a fitter/pump man on Ocean Fleets oil tankers
with Chief Conrad Gorton (Gorton?). He was a nice man, respected intelligence
and hard work; not that I was all that.
I am sure he is retired and pray that I can contact
him to pay more respect to him.
I worked under him on the Ras Lanuf, the Elbrega, the
ElGurdabia, the Elfwaihat and the Carlisle
from 1978 to 1987.
