We sailed
on the Aureol from Nigeria in 1970. My parents bought a wonderful oil palette
painting of a Nigerian market from one of the ships’ officers who they said was
the chief wireless officer.
I was only
6 at the time but we still have the painting. I can’t make out the name on the
signature but was wondering if anyone know his name. I would love to know if he
made a career from his painting or whether it’s possible to see any other of
his works?
